Medical Center of Arlington Celebrates its NICU Reunion at Rangers Ballpark in Arlington
August 02, 2010
Medical Center of Arlington celebrated its 11th annual Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Reunion at the Texas Rangers game on Friday, July 23, 2010. Over 700 friends and family members were in attendance with their NICU graduate to reunite with nurses, clinical staff and other NICU families.
"Our family had a lot of fun at the NICU Reunion," said Erin Roberts, mother of 2 ½ year old NICU graduate Clark Roberts. "Having it at the Ballpark was a great way to visit with the staff and former families of the NICU that we had not seen in a while. I know that our boys loved every minute of the reunion and felt special with the extras the staff had done in preparation for the reunion. We want to thank Medical Center of Arlington for making it possible to share a wonderful evening."
Clark was born full term in October of 2007, but unable to breathe on his own. Thanks to the vast capabilities of Medical Center of Arlington’s Level III NICU, Clark is now a healthy and happy toddler. Over 4,000 babies are born each year at Medical Center of Arlington, and the NICU cares for over 400 little ones.
