Volunteers are the wings of care upon which our healthcare facility soars!
A gentle smile and a helping hand! Each volunteer at Medical Center of Arlington is a valued member of our hospital team. As a volunteer you have the opportunity to touch lives and make a difference with a helping hand and a caring heart. Being a volunteer at Medical Center of Arlington will enhance your life through your volunteer commitment. Our volunteers are a diverse and talented group of people who share the joy of making life better for others - truly the human spirit in action.
Volunteers are an integral part of the services we offer at Medical Center of Arlington, and we're always looking for more volunteers to be a part of our growth. Duties include the following:
- Delivering patient mail and flowers
- Transporting patients
- Escorting visitors
- Working in the Gift Shop
- Manning an Information Desk
- Assembling new patient charts
Volunteers enjoy a variety of activities throughout the year, including participation in the City of Arlington Fourth of July parade, a National Volunteer Week recognition luncheon, an annual Holiday party and free meals in the hospital cafeteria. Selected members attend the annual Texas Hospital Association for Auxiliary convention.
If you are interested in giving back to the community by helping others we would love to meet you and fill you in on the many opportunities we have to offer. What a wonderful way to interact with others while sharing your valuable time and talents.
