When Expecting, Make MCA Your Choice For A Special Delivery

text4babyEach year, over 4,000 babies are delivered at Medical Center of Arlington.  MCA's Women's Center is connected to the main hospital tower and boasts three floors dedicated to birthing services.  Services to support the full continuum of care are offered, including an antepartum unit for expectant moms who require bed rest ahead of their delivery.  The labor and delivery suites are spacious and equipped with the latest monitoring technology, allowing the obstetrician the ability to monitor mom's and baby's heartbeats remotely.  For high-risk deliveries, the level III neonatal intensive care unit serves as a landing ground for babies who are born prematurely or require an immediate higher level of care.  The postpartum floor offers 29 large, all-private recovery suites with plenty of room for family to be there to enjoy the occasion.  The fetal diagnostic center functions as a dedicated OB emergency department that pregnant moms have access to 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

The most important part of all these services is the dedicated team of physicians, nurses, therapists, and technical staff who come together each day to offer an incredible patient experience at a very special time.
