Bank Machines

For your convenience, automatic teller machines are available in the Medical Mall

Food and Snacks

The cafeteria is located on the first floor of the hospital past the Medical Mall. Meals are served three times a day. Vending machines are also located in the cafeteria.

Gift Shop

The gift shop, which is operated by MCA’s Volunteer Auxiliary, offers small gifts, magazines, candy and various items and is located in the Medical Mall on the first floor. The gift shop opens at 9:00 am on week days and 10:00 am and 11:00 am on Saturday and Sunday, respectively.

Guest Meal Trays

Family members may order a guest tray to be delivered to the patient's room during regular meal service hours at an additional cost. Please ask your nurse how to purchase a guest meal tray.

Parking & Valet Services

Free patient and visitor parking is throughout the campus grounds, and valet parking is available at the main hospital entrance.

Pastoral Care

Illness often turns one's attention to spiritual matters. The Hospital Chapel is located on the first floor near the Medical Mall. The Chapel is open at all times to every denomination. A Hospital Chaplain is available throughout the week and may be requested by calling the Hospital Operator. Please tell your nurse if you would like a chaplain visit. In addition, emergency Chaplain visits are available 24 hours a day by contacting the hospital operator.

Security

Uniformed security guards are available on the medical campus 24 hours a day for the benefit of patients and visitors. If you or your family need escort services to a parked vehicle, contact the Hospital Operator.

Televisions

All patient rooms have a television with a wide array of cable channels. Many rooms also have VCR and/or DVD players.

Valuables and Personal Belongings

We request that you leave all valuables at home. Medical Center of Arlington does not accept responsibility for lost or stolen valuables or personal items. If necessary, your nurse can arrange to store small items in the hospital safe.

Visiting Hours (General Patients)

10:00 a.m. - 8:30 p.m.
All children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult.

Critical Care Unit

10:00 a.m. and every two hours until 10:00 p.m.
Two visitors only at one time. The length of time for each set of visiting hours is 30 minutes.

Pediatrics & Maternity:

Visitors must sign in at the nurse's desk before visiting a patient in these units. Parents of pediatric patients are encouraged to visit any time. Extended visiting hours for fathers in the maternity unit are from 7:00 am - 9:00 pm
